I’ve learned that most people don’t completely understand what I do when I say the terms "Marketing, Brand Management, Public Relations and Communications". Which is understandable – this world has changed super quickly and a lot of these terms are misused or have evolved to have different meanings.
I'm gonna make it easier on you and break it down a bit - Q&A style. 

What do you do?

I connect businesses to consumers. I enhance brands in genuine ways to help their business grow. 

How?

Many, many ways, but here are some examples - 
Social Media- I help brands show off their products or person in genuine yet enticing ways. A good social media strategy is a MUST for a successful business and I can help create that for you. 
Marketing- I create newsletters, track sales, make sure your website helps (not hurts) your business - essentially, I make sure everything that the public sees helps your brand and when possible, helps sell your products
Partnerships- I connect businesses, people and brands to grow their community.  This helps bring in new customers, gives current customers a reason to be excited and starts a story the media can write about. 
Events- Again, this helps businesses reach new customers, gives their current customers a reason to be excited and continues to tell the brand's "story."

Do you do PR?

Yes, but I think PR is just one piece of the promotional puzzle and it's essential we get everything above (how) aligned to make the media relationships and outreach as genuine and effective as possible.  Having just an opening strategy for PR only helps for the short term. What's more powerful is using long-term brand strategies which in the end lead to long-standing business success. Which is pretty much everyone’s goal, right?

Where do you come from?

Flint, MI...oh you mean like where have I worked? Well, here’s my bio – but basically, I’ve been working in-house with high-profiles chefs and restaurants since 2006. I have tremendous relationships with everyone I’ve worked with and truly hate talking about myself – I’d rather promote you:)

Why should we trust you?

I can give you a good referral or 4. Will that work? I’m also quick, intuitive, dedicated, direct, and have successfully been doing this for over 10 years.

Can I see your work?

Now that’s a tricky one. Because I went on my own only recently, my personal social media accounts don’t show off my work. Really, ya gotta look at my client list & portfolio. For social media, I've been doing it since the infant days of Facebook and Twitter and my work was referenced as  "THE accounts to emulate."  As for other things, I've re-built websites myself on Squarespace to help get businesses back on track at VERY little expense to the business. I've brought together partnerships that changed the business's bottomline from red to black. I've worked with a chef who has never used outside help with the intention to work for 3 months but after recognizing my success has since kept me on for almost 2 years. The conclusion - my clients are generally very happy they hired me and see a true ROI when evaluating my work.

Who should hire me?

  • Someone who started a business and needs help promoting it.
  • An established business or person who wants help but doesn’t want to extensively train or hire a full-time, rather costly employee.
    • Remember, I've worked with some high-profile people, I'm very quick and know a lot about making things seamlessly better. 
  • Someone who wants to start a business but can’t quite figure out what that business does.
    • I don’t only help restaurants. I’ve helped create a fitness instructor's brand, a boutique space designer, a travel start-up and more. I’m good at narrowing down what makes you great and creating a strategy so people want to partake.
  • A business with a PR firm who needs help executing Marketing and managing everything else in-house.
    • I work VERY well with PR firms. Most PR firms don’t handle the marketing details it requires to have a super successful business. I fill in that gap.
  • A business who is opening in a new market. I help businesses adapt to new markets while still staying genuine to their brand. Just because your business model worked in Austin, doesn't mean it works the same in LA. I can guide you through the best process. 
  • Someone referred you. Remember, referrals are golden. They've obviously either worked with me or know someone who has and what's better than that?

Why Classic

Classic, to me, means genuine and timeless. Those two components are essential to how I work. I'm not looking to change businesses or brands, I'm here to help them!
